Marmot Pass

Dave and I took 5 boys up Marmot Pass - 12 mile hike roundtrip. This is a beautiful hike, one that's been on my list. None of the usual parents could go, but it was a beautiful day and we decided to just go for it. We borrowed Darrel's truck to cram everyone in! Dave got to test the Jet Boil at Camp Mystery to make some hot chocolate for the kids. I ate crickets with Carver! ICK!!! It was a long hike, but the kids did great. On the way home we got to see the Bood Super Moon Lunar Eclipse, or whatever that was called! It was beautiful to watch the blush rose moon move through phases as we drove east from the hike.
